AAPI Sci-fi Film Festival: Train to Busan

Students, faculty, and community members are invited to join the screening of Train to Busan (2017), directed by Dir. Sang-ho Yeŏn, in celebration of Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month. Students from ASIAN 130 (Asian Science Fiction in Global Perspective) will present this hugely popular Sci-fi horror from South Korea, followed by an engaging discussion with the attendees. This event is part of the AAPI Sci-fi Book Fair and Film Festival, co-hosted by the Asian Studies Department, Academic Civic Engagement (ACE), and the Northfield Public Library’s Sci-fi Book Club, and sponsored by the Leraas Fund. The film is R-rated.
