Disability Awareness Week
April 22 - April 26
FreeThe St Olaf Community is welcome to join in with Disability Awareness Week programming Monday April 22 through Friday, April 26.
Throughout the week, will feature hallway displays in Buntrock put on by TRIO Student Support Services for Students with Disabilities (SSSD) and the Chronic Illness and Disability Support Club.
Monday, April 22 The Piper Center will present: Beyond the Hill with Valerie Williams, DEI Director at the Minnesota Zoo at 3pm in Valhalla.
Tuesday, April 23, SSSD Peer Leaders will present on the history of the ADA in Tomson 184 at 3pm.
Wednesday, April 24 students will share their disability stories all day on SSSD’s Instagram page, @stolafsssd, and SSSD will present on “Getting Started as a Disability Advocate” at 4pm in Tomson 184 (Masks required and provided for this event).
Thursday, April 25 students will share their disability experiences during Chapel at 11am in Boe Chapel.
