It is easy to feel like the environmental crisis is beyond help, that there is nothing you or I can do to stop the apocalyptical end of humanity, that we might as well give up now. But that just isn’t true! This ‘doomism’ can lead to a sense of hopelessness that can become what is referred to as eco-anxiety. Eco-anxiety is becoming increasingly common in our generation and can lead to climate inaction, so let’s talk about it. Join the Wellness Center and the Environmental Coalition for this Earth Week presentation where we will talk about how we can replace ‘doomism’ with activism, positive climate action, and eco-anxiety coping strategies.
