As part of our annual African-Caribbean Week from 27 Feb – 4th March KARIBU – The African Caribbean student organization at St. Olaf – Is hosting a Diaspora Panel on the 2nd of March at 4pm in the Gold Ballrooms.
The event that we are organizing is a panel on the diaspora experience, consisting of students and staff/faculty. The theme would be Standing Oceans Apart and would consist of panelists talking about and answering questions from our guests about the diaspora experience.
The panel would be open to the community. KARIBU’s aim is that it will be an excellent way for people to learn more about the Afro-Caribbean experience away from home, and for students in our community to connect with others about a multifaceted experience.
All events in AC Week are open to the St. Olaf Community, with the exception of AC Night on Saturday, which is also open to external guests!
