St. Olaf Public Safety will host an in-person Know Your Rights training session for all members of the campus community on Wednesday, March 4, from 7–8:30 p.m. in Regents Hall 210. The session will include:
- A presentation with information from the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Minnesota
- An overview on being an informed observer in hospitals and schools presented by Kathy Abram, a psychologist and retired law enforcement officer who is also a certified instructor with the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation
- A practical demonstration of a traffic stop, with information about what to do and not do
- Time for a Q&A
