The Institute for Freedom & Community and The Lutheran Center are co-hosting “Learning to Disagree: A Conversation with Dr. John Inazu.” The talk is part of the IFC’s spring series, Democracy and Dialogue. It will be streamed and available for on-demand viewing online.
John Inazu’s scholarship focuses on the First Amendment freedoms of speech, assembly, and religion, and related questions of legal and political theory. His books include Liberty’s Refuge: The Forgotten Freedom of Assembly (Yale University Press, 2012) and Confident Pluralism: Surviving and Thriving Through Deep Difference (University of Chicago Press, 2016), and most recently, Learning to Disagree: The Surprising Path to Navigating Differences with Empathy and Respect (Zondervan, 2024).
