Faculty, staff, students, and community members are invited to a talk with Eric Jolly where he will discuss how STEM shows up in rural areas broadly, and how it has been a force for Minnesota’s rural communities in particular—bringing in both data and stories. He will then provide a high-level overview of the 2025 National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine report on K-12 STEM Education and Workforce Development in Rural Areas.
