Lecture: Democracy’s Resilience to Populism’s Threat

The Institute for Freedom and Community welcomes Kurt Weyland, Professor of Government, and Mike Hogg, Professor in the Liberal Arts at the University of Texas – Austin, to St. Olaf to present “Democracy’s Resilience to Populism’s Threat.” Weyland will evaluate the strength of populist movements globally, arguing that democracies are more resilient than many commentators fear.
