Lyric Theater: The Odyssey

Welcome to the world premiere of The Odyssey: The Musical, an original musical comedy adaptation of the timeless Homeric epic by Louis Epstein and Daniel Groll. A blend of Broadway musical, indie rock concept album, Disney fairy tale, and revue, The Odyssey: The Musical conveys themes of love and loss, manipulation and desperation, hospitality and exploitation. Kids, tweens, college students, adults, and even Classics scholars will find something to love in this sometimes riotous, sometimes heart wrenching, always gripping story about the obstacles we overcome to make our way home.
