Opening Convocation

St. Olaf College will usher in a new academic year on Thursday, September 9, with its annual Opening Convocation in Boe Memorial Chapel.
Student Government Association President Andy Nelson ’23 will welcome the congregation. L. DeAne Lagerquist, Harold Ditmanson Distinguished Professor of Religion will deliver an Opening Convocation address titled “There is Only One Question.”
This official opening of the academic year includes a formal procession by the members of the St. Olaf faculty robed in their academic regalia.
