Spring 2026 Strengthening Democracy Dialogues

Please join an intergenerational conversation after an event hosted by the Institute for Freedom and Community. Students in the “Imagining Democracies Globally” first year seminar will lead discussion about how speakers’ ideas can inform our own participation in democracy.

Here is more information about the upcoming speakers and dialogue opportunity:

• Tuesday, April 7: Kurt Weyland, Democracy’s Resilience to Populism’s Threat 

Participants should plan to attend both the lecture (3:30-4:30 PM) and the discussion following the lecture (4:45-5:45 PM). Light refreshments will be available.
