Concert at Phoenix Concert Hall in Hiroshima with the Hijiyama Girls Junior and Senior High School Band and the Shudo Junior and Senior High School Band

The St. Olaf Band, conducted by Dr. Timothy Mahr, will be joined by Shudo Junior and Senior High School School Band Group Hijiyama Girls’ Junior and Senior High School Brass Band at Phoenix Concert Hall in Hiroshima on Saturday, June 3 at 2:00 p.m. during its 2023 International Tour. Founded in 1891, the St. Olaf Band performs the very best compositions and transcriptions for symphonic band, producing an exciting, crowd-pleasing style, and was dubbed “one of America’s preeminent bands” by The New Yorker.
