St. Olaf Jazz I Concert at Crooners Lounge and Supper Club

St. Olaf Jazz I, led by Dr. Joseph L. Jefferson, will perform on Sunday, April 7 at 4:00 p.m. at Crooners Lounge and Supper Club in Minneapolis. The band showcases a wide range of musical styles such as swing, be-bop, funk, fusion, salsa, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, and New Orleans grooves at every performance. St. Olaf Jazz I was voted the “Best College or University Big Band” by Downbeat Magazine in May 2011, and was awarded “Outstanding Performance by Large Undergraduate Jazz Ensemble” by the publication in 2019.
