St. Olaf Jazz I & II Concert

St. Olaf Jazz I & II, conducted by Joseph Jefferson, perform a concert.

St. Olaf Jazz showcases a wide range of musical styles such as swing, be-bop, funk, fusion, salsa, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, and New Orleans grooves at every performance. St. Olaf Jazz I was voted the “Best College or University Big Band” by Downbeat Magazine in May 2011, and was awarded “Outstanding Performance by Large Undergraduate Jazz Ensemble” by the publication in 2019.
