The St. Olaf Philharmonia, conducted by Chung Park, and the Norseman Band, conducted by Michael Buck, present a joint spring concert.
The Norseman Band is one of two symphonic bands at St. Olaf and has developed a reputation in recent years as a dynamic and exciting concert ensemble. The band strives to program for a wide and diverse audience.
The St. Olaf Philharmonia was established in 1975 to accommodate the college’s growing numbers of strong players. The orchestra performs music from all periods, including repertoire for string orchestra, chamber orchestra, and symphony orchestra. All are welcome to attend the concert.
