TEDxStOlafCollege – IGNITE

A TEDx event features speakers from multiple backgrounds presenting their individual
talks regarding an specific idea they believe to be worth sharing. These talks are very
well-formulated and follow a similar format, where all of them are under 18 minutes. The
speakers bring to the stage their unique views on the topic they are approaching,
challenging the audience to reflect on the inquiries they are presenting.
TEDx events happen all around the world, and they are also seen as a platform to
connect with people from other institutions, companies, and even countries post the
event, as all the talks are published in the official TEDx youtube channel and the event
information is registered in the official TED website.
We are thrilled to be bringing TEDx to St Olaf College for the very first time as we
deeply believe in the power that these talks have in fostering curiosity, inspiration and
insightful discussions. Most TEDx events have a theme, and the theme carefully
selected for the 2023 edition of TEDxStOlafCollege is Ignite.
