Rev. Heidi Neumark, author of the All-Community Read book Hidden Inheritance, will be visiting St. Olaf and engaging in events throughout the day. Learn more about the All-Community Read.
Rev. Neumark and a representative from the Jewish Community Relations Council will lead a tour of The Making Known, an exhibition in the Flaten Art Museum that attends to the ethical questions that arise from the Tetlie Collection of World War II Propaganda Posters, co-presented by the Lutheran Center for Faith, Values and Community and the Flaten Art Museum.
Featuring Rev. Neumark, Steve Hunegs, Executive Director of the Jewish Community Relations Council, and Lutheran Center Director Deanna Thompson reflecting and discussion themes from Rev. Neumark's book Hidden Inheritance: Family Secrets, Memory, and Faith.
Each month the Lutheran Center hosts a breakfast or lunch for staff and faculty featuring a St. Olaf staff or faculty member who responds to the question, “What Nourishes You?” reflecting on the values, core commitments, relationships, faith, activism, and beyond that nourish and sustain us. There will be space for 10 people per meal.
