John Saurer: Let it Loose is a retrospective exhibition at the Flaten Art Museum celebrating St. Olaf College Professor of Art John Saurer’s artistic career.
An opening reception to celebrate St. Olaf’s 19 studio art majors and their completed senior projects, which will be on display in the Flaten Art Museum’s galleries. This event is free and open to the public.

The exhibition Build on this Gesture features eight artists working at St. Olaf College, including Krista Anderson-Larson, D’Angelo Christian, Sophie Eisner, Courtney Leonard, Peter Nelson, Anders Nienstaedt, John Saurer, and Michon Weeks. The motivations that drive their practices are wide-ranging, and their creative gestures take myriad forms.
