“CILA STEM Inclusive Teaching Learning Community.” Co-sponsors: Associate Dean for Natural and Mathematical Sciences, Tina Garrett; Carleton’s College’s STEM Board and Perlman Center for Learning and Teaching (LTC).
A little more information: CILA and the Associate Dean for Natural Sciences Mathematics, Tina Garrett, are teaming up with Carleton’s Perlman Center for Learning and Teaching (LTC) and STEM Board to organize a short-term learning community for faculty and staff who are interested in participating in and gathering to discuss the NSF Inclusive STEM Teaching Project’s six-week online course.
The course runs from October 2 – November 21, 2023; you can learn more about course outcomes and learning outcomes by following this link. CILA and the LTC will host two meetings for Carleton and St. Olaf participants to gather and share their experiences.
The program starts soon, so if you’re interested please register for the course on your own and RSVP to the learning community by Wednesday September 27th. (If you’ve already completed the course previously, you are welcome to participate, but please RSVP.) Although this content is likely most relevant to those in and adjacent to the NSM, all are welcome!
