Ancient Studies Major

Intended Learning Outcomes

Students will demonstrate:

1. proficiency in ancient Greek or Latin at the fourth-semester level.
2. broad knowledge about ancient history and literature and about other subject areas in Ancient Studies.
3. in-depth knowledge about one subject area in Ancient Studies.
4. the ability to produce writing and research relevant to the major.
