Students will:
- explore the values, history, and scope of public health from local to global perspectives.
- articulate relationships between policy and society’s health and wellbeing.
- understand how public health teams synthesize domain expertise to articulate a public health challenge, collect and assess relevant data, and put in place the means to mitigate it in a contextually relevant framework.
- practice effective communication across differences, including disciplines, cultures, spiritual values, social status, and viewpoints.
