President Rundell Singer invites you to the 2024 Honors Day Convocation on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 10:10 a.m.

Honors Day is a time to celebrate the academic accomplishments of students, to express gratitude to faculty members, and to say “thank you” to donors and friends of the college who provide scholarships.

The convocation celebrates the academic accomplishments of students and members of academic honor societies as well as those who have received special honors from nationally competitive fellowships.

This year the college will also bestow an honorary degree to Philip Geier during the Honors Day Convocation. Phil Geier is the Executive Director of the Davis United World College Scholars Program. St. Olaf College has been a part of a select group of colleges and universities that have participated in the Davis United World College Scholars Program since 2008. The UWC aims to foster global awareness by increasing the number of international students who study in the United States.

The primary audience for this academic event is the campus community, but we are pleased, as always, to welcome parents and guardians. This event will also be streamed live and can be viewed online.
