Honors Day Convocation

Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 10:10 a.m.

President David R. Anderson ’74 invites you to the 2020 Honors Day Convocation on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 10:10 a.m.

Honors Day is a time to celebrate the academic accomplishments of students, to express gratitude to faculty members, and to say “thank you” to donors and friends of the college who provide scholarships.

The convocation congratulates students named to the dean’s list and academic honor societies, as well as those who have received special honors including Fulbright fellowships, Udall scholarships, National Science Foundation Graduate Research fellowships, Knight-Hennessy scholarships, Critical Language scholarships, Rossing Physics scholarships, and Boren scholarships.

The event will be virtual, but the honors and the celebration are very real. We hope that you can join us.

Thank you to our donors!

The Honors Day Convocation celebrates the academic accomplishments of Oles and the people who helped them succeed.

Over the years, donors have generously endowed 785 scholarship funds, paving the way for thousands of students to achieve academic success at St. Olaf. During the 2019–20 academic year, endowed scholarships helped 853 students get a St. Olaf education. These students received a combined $7,734,897 in scholarship support. Thank you!

Check out work from the Class of 2020

Honors Day is a time to celebrate the excellent academic work put forth by St. Olaf students. Historically on this day we share work from the senior class. While we unfortunately cannot share all student work — in celebration of the graduating Class of 2020 — we are sharing a small sample of academic work that our seniors created this year.
