The Art Barn space is likened to a one-room schoolhouse. It has flexible seating, a kitchenette, and lounge space. Guests are provided basic amenities to serve themselves during their stay. Due to its location and design, services are limited. Please note, there is no air conditioning.
The Art Barn is 40′ x 40′, slightly under 1600 square feet. The maximum capacity of the space is 35 people.
- All events must be scheduled in advance.
- An event work order needs to be filled out for all events in the Art Barn. Please note that furniture and/or tables cannot be added or removed from the space. Events must use the existing furniture.
- Due to capacity and space limitations, dances/parties that are open to all of the campus are not permitted in the Art Barn.
- Events involving youth must follow proper guidelines to host minors on campus.
- Event coordinators are responsible for cleaning the Art Barn and moving furniture back to its original set-up after their event has concluded.
- Groups are welcome to bring snack food into the Art Barn and utilize the kitchenette and provided kitchen supplies during their reservation.
- Due to the location of the space and challenges with trash removal, full banquets or potlucks are not permitted in the Art Barn. Any meals must be catered by Bon Appétit.
