ST. OLAF/ELCA PROCESS

This process must be completed annually. 

ACM PROCESS

This process is only required the dependent’s first year. No further action is required unless a change in their enrollment takes place (leave of absence, transfer).

 

Required Forms

STEP 1: Complete Application for the benefit.

The ELCA application must be completed annually for each student utilizing the benefit. The ACM application must be completed once prior to their first year for each student utilizing the benefit. Please notify the ACM if any changes in the student’s enrollment occurs (transfer, gap year).

STEP 2: Confirm which institution your child will attend.

If the student applied to:

ELCA Institutions: No Confirmation Form needed.

ACM Institutions: In the case of first years – The student/parent will receive a confirmation email that will include an application code. This code will be needed later to confirm the student’s participation via a separate confirmation form. The confirmation email will include a link to the form, which must be completed by May 1.

St. Olaf does not require families to apply for financial aid to receive the tuition benefit. However, families are encouraged to complete the financial aid application at least the first year to determine eligibility for all types of assistance. Other participating institutions may require families to complete the financial aid application. Please check with the other institution(s) to confirm.
