The Problem

LITS does not have an organized and consistent way of sharing our DEI plans and our progress toward our goals and objects. This becomes problematic, particularly when working with other departments, job candidates, the larger DEI initiatives at the college and within our professional library and IT groups. LITS wants to be known for our actions, not simply for a well-polished plan. For others to know about our work and the actions we have taken, LITS needs a website to publicly share all the work we are doing on our DEI initiatives.

Actions Taken

LITS will develop a concise website focused on the activities we are planning, projects we are undertaking, and be a repository to capture the work we have done. The site will be updated regularly as DEI work progresses or our goals change. Where indicated, the site will link to the tangible results of our efforts (new policies, updated language, projects on the website, Catalyst, etc.) It will be linked on a prominent spot from the Library and IT websites.
