A Conversation on Faith, Serious Illness, and the Virtual Body of Christ
Lutheran Center Director Deanna Thompson was recently a guest on the “Faith and Imagination” podcast hosted by Dr. Matthew Wickman, Founding Director of the Humanities Center at Brigham Young University. In February 2020 Deanna was a guest of BYU’s Humanities Center, speaking on “Faith in a Traumatized World” just weeks before the pandemic shut everything down. In this conversation Deanna and Matthew talk about how our communities have adapted to the pandemic and whether things Deanna has learned about how illness attacks us individually can be applied to some of the social ills that face us today.
