Abbie Haug ’19 is a student at Harvard Divinity School, completing a Masters of Theological Studies degree with a focus in Religion, Ethics and Politics, complemented by extensive coursework at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. She also works as the Communications Manager for innoFaith, a nonprofit exploring the intersections of interfaith and social innovation work. Abbie’s other involvements include the Impact Guild, a community engagement and grassroots problem-solving network, and Harvard’s Innovation Lab.
Prior to the launch of her graduate studies, Abbie worked in the Religion & Society Program at The Aspen Institute in Washington, DC, helping to build partnerships and design programs that encouraged religious pluralism across the United States, and managing the Institute’s Powering Pluralism Network. Abbie was also part of the small team that produced the first–ever Ideas Festival outside of Aspen, in Fargo, North Dakota.
Abbie graduated from St. Olaf College in 2019 with majors in Political Science and Religion and a concentration in Management Studies. She was deeply involved with Student Government, serving as a Board of Regents Student Committee member and Senator for three years, and as Student Body Vice President and moderator of Student Senate during her senior year. When she’s not writing papers for school, Abbie loves to read fun fiction and train for half marathons!
