Holly Beck ’22
Originally from Davenport, Iowa, Holly Beck (she/her/hers) is a History and Religion major in the Class of 2022 at St. Olaf College. Holly’s academic interests cover a wide range of disciplines and include Christian theology, ancient history, mysticism, social justice, diplomacy, and interreligious studies. In addition to her position as an Interfaith Fellow in the Lutheran Center, Holly also works as an Office Assistant in the History Department. Outside of the classroom, Holly is involved with the Student Interreligious Council, the St. Olaf Chapel Choir, and Sanctuary Fellowship. In her free time, Holly enjoys baking scones, drinking hazelnut lattes, and sending snail mail.
Viveka Hall-Holt ’22
Viveka Hall-Holt is a junior religion and psychology major from Northfield, MN. She is the chaplain of the Gospel Choir of St. Olaf, a Co-President of Ole Roundtable, and a member of the Student Interreligious Council. She comes from Lutheran roots and interdenominational traditions. In 2016, she went on St. Olaf’s Global Semester with her family, an experience that radically opened her understanding of religion and spirituality through listening to the stories of others and experiencing other ways of life. From a very young age, conversation about religion, spirituality, and people’s whole beings has been her passion.
