Internships
To complete the Business and Management Studies concentration, students must complete an internship or significant work experience. We work closely with the Piper Center for Vocation and Career to ensure every student, no matter what their major is and what their area of interest is, is able to get an internship.

- These can be credit bearing (academic internship) or not.
- Funding is available for unpaid or underpaid internships.
- Our internship database includes over 1400 internships submitted by graduating seniors from the past five years and shows the diversity of available internship opportunities for current students.
- The college provides a number of unique St. Olaf internship programs that are great preparation for students interested in business in the future.

Management Studies
“I am beyond thankful for the Finance Fast-Track and the opportunities that have sprouted from it. Not only was I able to explore my interest in finance immediately at St. Olaf through the accelerated course track, I was able to take the Wall Street Prep Financial & Valuation Modeling Certificate Program my freshman summer, giving me the edge needed to break into an Investment banking internship the spring of my sophomore year. This has set me up for a career in high finance while still enjoying the liberal arts college experience.”
