Isaiah Scharen ’20 is embracing the liberal arts by exploring the things he’s most passionate about: studio art, physics, and study abroad.

Together, it’s led to an impactful experience.

“When I tell people that I’m a studio art and physics major, they say ‘Those are completely different worlds, why are you studying those?'” Isaiah says.

His answer is simple: “Because everywhere they intersect I find really interesting, whether it be architecture or kinetic sculpture or industrial design.”
