Post-Bulletin highlights recent grad’s business success
A story in the Rochester Post-Bulletin highlights the business success of recent St. Olaf College graduate Darin Steffl ’13.
Steffl founded Minnesota WiFi last year with the help of an entrepreneurial grant he received from the St. Olaf Piper Center for Vocation and Career. His company, which provides high-speed internet service in rural Minnesota, already has scores of customers. Steffl has hired two part-time employees since graduating this spring and is in the process of hiring a full-time employee.
Steffl, who was also featured last year in Minnesota 2020’s Activated Voices video series, wants the company’s coverage area to eventually include all of southeastern Minnesota.
