The newest college rankings from U.S. News & World Report list St. Olaf among the top 10 “Best Value” national liberal arts colleges.

St. Olaf is among a select number of colleges across the country that meets the full demonstrated financial need of 100 percent of admitted students. The college has a clear commitment to affordability and tools on its site to help families quickly calculate the financial aid they will receive.

In addition to a No. 10 ranking on the “Best Value” list, St. Olaf ranked No. 51 overall on the list of 211 top national liberal arts colleges.

St. Olaf also came in at No. 27 for study abroad, highlighting another key strength of the college. The Smith Center for Global Engagement offers study abroad and away programs in nearly 40 countries, including more than 70 semester or year-long programs and nearly 30 courses each January term.

St. Olaf has earned high marks in other prominent college rankings this year, including the Princeton Review’s Top 50 Best Value Colleges. The Princeton Review named St. Olaf in a variety of top rankings this year, including Best Science Lab Facilities (No. 4), Best Classroom Experience (No. 5), Great Financial Aid (No. 7), Best Career Services (No. 21), and Most Beautiful Campus (No. 25).
