Aurora (Beibei) Zhou serves as the student administrative assistant for Congregational Thriving through the St.Olaf College Lutheran Center. As a student at St.Olaf College, her intended major is data science.
She originally comes from mainland China. Before coming to St.Olaf College, she spent two years in Armenia for her high school education. During that period, she got huge passion to the Armenian folk musical instrument – Duduk. She thinks Duduk is magical and deep enough to communicate with soul. This intrigued her to take a gap semester for learning the musical instrument.
She pays her attention to global changes in politics and climate change and how the two factors have consequential effects on the human body, mind and spirit. She enjoys exploring spirituality through intercultural spiritual ceremonies, dance, art and music.
