The Wonders of Worship (WOW) is a project of Nourishing Vocation with Children generously funded by the Lilly Endowment Inc. at St. Olaf College. Conceived by Rev. Kyle Severson, WOW is currently being piloted by Rev. Severson at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Park Ridge, Illinois and by Rev. Andrew Perger, Faith Lutheran, Columbus, WI. This innovative series brings the liturgy to life through 40 engaging, arts-enriched children’s sermons, designed with a child-focused approach to deepen understanding and connection.

- “The Wonders of Worship,” an original music composition by Anne Krentz-Organ
- A new and unique children’s sermon for each of the 40 elements
- 40 high-quality trading cards from original liturgical art created by Vonda Drees
- “Tree of Life” composite painting
