After conducting a thorough search for our next partner to update our HR, Finance, and Student Information Systems, we are pleased to announce our partnership with Oracle Cloud and Drivestream for this planned 3-year project. 

Oracle has developed a cloud-based software solution to replace our on-premises legacy software. The project will take place in two Phases. Phase 1 will cover the HR & Finance side and will start this year, with a planned Go-Live date of January 2024. Phase 2 will focus on the Student Information System side and is set to take place from 2024 through 2026; though we will have introductory meetings starting as soon as this Spring. 

It’s worth noting that St. Olaf is not alone in this change! We are a member of the HESS Consortium (The Higher Education Systems & Services Consortium) which comprises of more than 80 colleges and universities across the country. Of the HESS Consortium, seven colleges have agreed to work with Oracle. We have partnered with Drivestream to serve as our implementation partner throughout the entirety of the project.

We are excited about this opportunity and the positive impact it will have on our campus. We will keep everyone updated as we move forward with the implementation, and we are confident that our partnership with Oracle and Drivestream will bring solid and modern software to St. Olaf for years to come.
