Riding the UAT Rollercoaster
Hey there, Oracle Project enthusiasts! Buckle up as we take you through the rollercoaster ride of our User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase that is just wrapping up from our from September 18th start. Spoiler alert: it involves million-dollar bonuses, famous hires, and, of course, croissants!
Phase 1 Fun & Frolic:
In UAT Phase 1, we went all out, testing every business action under the sun – from hiring and retiring to transfers, awards, and yes, even firing (don’t worry, it was all in good fun!). Picture this: employees scoring million-dollar bonuses and the surreal experience of hiring Clark Kent and Taylor Swift (who knew Taylor is an Ole!). For some modules, we even had our Drivestream expert in the room, adding an extra layer of awesome to the testing.
Of course, it wasn’t all smooth sailing; we stumbled upon a few hitches. No worries, though – we logged tickets with the wider Drivestream team to iron out the wrinkles in our upcoming phase.
Phase 2 Extravaganza:
For UAT Phase 2, we rolled out the red carpet, inviting more than 60 campus members over seven days. The spotlight was on major areas like “Me” (Employee Self Service), Recruiting & Onboarding, “My Team” (for supervisors), and Journeys. Oh, and let’s not forget the star of the show – those butter croissants and fresh fruit, courtesy of Bon Appétit. Even if you missed the sessions, fear not! A lively preview was featured in the recent All Staff Meeting, where Bon Appéit once again graced us with their culinary delights.
What’s Next? UAT Issue Resolution:
Now, we’re diving into the UAT Issue Resolution phase throughout October, addressing any challenges that surfaced during UAT. The countdown to our December 16th Go-Live date has begun, and things are about to get even more exciting! Stay tuned for the next chapter in our Oracle Project saga – it’s going to be a wild ride! 🎢✨
