Why is it important to you to participate in this committee?
Selecting the next leader for the college is the most important decision the Board of Regents will make in the coming years. We have the chance to build on the strong legacy of President Anderson and be actively engaged in identifying the leader who will bring together the voices of all those across the campus and within the network of St. Olaf champions to set the road for continued success in the dynamic environment and landscape of liberal arts education.
What lens or experience do you hope to bring to this committee?
I had the honor of leading the Visioning Task Force, charged by the Board of Regents, to create a long-term vision for the college and outline an aspirational direction for the future. My goal is to bring forward the priorities and focus of the Board’s visioning commitments to seek and identify the candidate who will embrace and unleash this vision for St. Olaf College in the next decades.
