The Taylor Center for Equity & Inclusion will be bringing to campus A Peace of My Mind, for a week-long exhibit along with an on-site studio, wrap-up lecture, and classroom workshops. This event is done in partnership with the Northfield Arts Guild, in hopes that we can have an amazing collaboration with the Northfield community.

We will be displaying the Lessons on the Road to Peace exhibit on St. Olaf’s campus as well as the Arts Guild in Northfield beginning October 3rd.  Then during the week of October 7th we will have John Noltner (founder) visit a few classes or student groups.

Meet John on Oct. 8th during Studio Day!

Northfield Arts Guild 9:30am-12pm

St. Olaf College, Tomson Hall East Lantern 3pm-6pm

This onsite studio will capture YOUR portrait and allow you to RESPOND to our
question, What does building an inclusive community mean to you? . We hope to gather up to 100 stories from our St. Olaf and Northfield community members.

The studio output will be produced into a video and incorporated into John’s closing keynote talk on October 10th.

The result is a powerful body of work that helps us to see ourselves and our peers in new ways.
