Screening of the documentary, Precious Knowledgefollowed by Q & A with the filmmaker Eren McGinnis, co-founder of the feminist filmmaking company Café Sister Productions and producer of 19 movies including POV’s Tobacco Blues, The Girl Next Door (shortlisted for an Oscar), Beyond the Border, The Spirituals, and Dos Vatos-México. Co-sponsored by English, Education, Media and Film Studies, Women’s and Gender Studies, Hispanic Studies, ARMS, and the Multicultural Center.
