Application Timeline
SUMMER – FALL 2022
COMPLETE PART ONE
Provide some important information about yourself so we can begin to build your relationship with St. Olaf. Your officer will contact you to introduce themselves, provide important information, and help you stay on top of deadlines.
FALL 2022 – WINTER 2023
COMPLETE PART TWO

There are two options for continuing your application through the Common Application and the Coalition Application.
St. Olaf does not charge an application fee!

ACT or SAT test scores (optional). You may self-report your test scores by:
- Emailing score reports or screenshots from you or your counselor
- Submit via your Common Application/Coalition Application
- Filling out this quick form
Reminder: we superscore the SAT and the ACT. We will superscore your ACT or SAT results by combining your highest subsection score from different test dates to create your composite score.

Official high school transcript: this must be submitted directly from your high school. It can be sent online or as an attachment directly from your school to admissions@stolaf.edu.

Teacher recommendation: One letter of recommendation from a teacher in a core academic subject: English, international language, history, social studies, mathematics, or the natural sciences. This letter may be submitted via the Common Application or Coalition Application, or emailed as an attachment directly from the recommender to admissions@stolaf.edu.

Fine arts scholarships are awarded on the basis of the fine arts application, audition, interviews, or portfolio reviews by faculty members. Finalists are notified in late January and are invited to visit campus and audition in late February or early March.
