I’m super excited to have just received a Knight Foundation grant to work with St. Paul-based new music ensemble Zeitgeist on a series of “food operas,” multimedia collaborations with local chefs that explore the connections between the senses of hearing and taste. I’ve already done three of these in the Boston area to significant acclaim.

Also, my composition “The Tomb of the Grammarian Lysias,” on a text by Greek poet Constantine P. Cavafy, scored for voice and a choir of audience members’ mobile devices, was premiered at the opening concert of the International Computer Music Conference in Athens, Greece, on Sept 14, 2014.”
