Rose Gryting Simpson was recognized in the 2013 Profiles of Exemplary Career Women by the Scottsdale, Ariz. American Association of University Women. Retired, she served on the English faculties of Central Arizona College and Mesa Community College, as well as Olympic College in Bremerton, Wash., at the Bangor Submarine Base.
