CDR Matthew Newland is now serving as a Senior Policy Analyst in the Office of Global Affairs in the Office of the Secretary in the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), working with the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the Global Health Initiative. Parts of his duties include serving as a liaison between the HHS Operating Divisions, the Office of Global Affairs, and State Department.
