All are welcome to attend the St. Olaf Theater Department’s performances of Much Ado About Nothing.
Much Ado About Nothing is a comedy by playwright William Shakespeare. The action is set in Messina, Italy, and tells the story of Beatrice and Benedick, who are always arguing. Their friends conspire to make them fall in love with each other. The primary plot turns on the courtship and scandal involving young Hero and her suitor, Claudio — but the witty war of words between Claudio’s friend Benedick and Hero’s cousin Beatrice often takes center stage.
