The Viking Chorus, conducted by Assistant Professor of Music Joseph Kemper, will present a spring concert. The choir is comprised of first-year tenors and basses who carry on a legacy of chorus singing since its founding in 1935. Featuring a broad repertoire with an emphasis in sacred music, the low voices of Viking sing motets, cantata movements, and anthems, as well as contemporary choral pieces, spirituals, and folksongs. This event is free and open to the public.
