Daily Chapel: Founders Day
Daily Chapel is a time of inspiration for body, mind, and spirit; a quiet harbor in a busy day; worship. Students, faculty, and staff witness to their faith and invite the community to join them. All are welcome!
This year’s service will include the inaugural awarding of the Founders Medal, which recognizes recipients as modern founders of the college. The award serves as a public declaration of deep gratitude from the entire St. Olaf community, highlighting the transformative power of philanthropy in supporting higher education.
The Founders Medal is amongst the highest honors the college can bestow, recognizing individuals whose extraordinary contributions have significantly advanced the college’s mission and improved the lives and outcomes of St. Olaf students today and for centuries to come. The inaugural recipient of the Founders Medal is Dean Buntrock.
All are invited to a reception in the King’s Dining Room following the chapel service.
