The purposes of Honors Day are to celebrate the academic accomplishments of students, to express gratitude to faculty members, and to say “thank you” to donors and friends of the college who provide scholarships.
This year our guest speaker is Karen Cherewatuk, Marie M. Meyer Distinguished Professor of English. The title of her address is “The Going and Coming.”
Honors Day is one of four occasions in the academic year when the St. Olaf faculty process in academic regalia. It is a special event in the cycle of the academic year, and we look forward to seeing you there!
