Opening Convocation

St. Olaf College will usher in the new 2022-23 academic year on Thursday, September 8, with its annual Opening Convocation in Boe Memorial Chapel.
Student Government Association President Sebastian Pham ’23 will welcome the congregation. Eric Cole, Professor of Religion, will deliver an Opening Convocation address titled “Evidence of Magic in an Age of Science.”
This official opening of the academic year includes a formal procession by the members of the St. Olaf faculty robed in their academic regalia.
