The 22nd Sunday after Pentecost; Sunday Worship with Holy Communion.
College Pastor Matthew Marohl will deliver the sermon presided by Associate College Pastor Katherine Fick. James E. Bobb, Associate Professor in Music and the Cantor for the Student Congregation, will assist. The Viking Chorus will be conducted by Paolo Debuque, Visiting Instructor of Music.The Viking Chorus of St. Olaf College is a choir of first-year tenors and basses who carry on a legacy of a chorus singing since its founding in 1935. Featuring a broad repertoire with an emphasis on sacred music, the low voices of Viking sing motets, cantata movements, and anthems, as well as contemporary choral pieces, spirituals, folksongs, and more. The Chapel Ringers will be conducted by Jill Mahr, Adjunct Instructor in Music.
